Day 5 in Indonesia - Gili Trawangan (Day 2) 

Today we hired bikes from the host which cost us INR 35,000 per bike to bike around the island.  One of the bike broke halfway to the Sunset point so we decided just chilled out there. We also had lunch - a Chicken Kastu Rice Bowl. It was only INR 25,000 which is about NZD $2.50. Biking around the island is a bit of hassle because there is a lot sand on the ground which makes it very difficult to use the bike. 

今曰在我哋住的地方租咗单车，每辆单车是印度币35,000。在去日落点的時候其中一部单车的链断了。因为路上好多沙所以步行是比较好些的。

Gili Trawangan - day 1

Day 4 in Indonesia - Gili Trawangan Island

Woke up at 9am and was picked up at 10am. It took us 3 hours to reach the pier and we waited there for another hour for our boat to arrive.  It’s about 4pm when we arrived at the island.  We carried our luggage on our back and front which was around 30 - 40 kg. We walked about 15 minutes to reach our homestay.  It’s a very nice place quiet and clean, only cost us NZD $20 per person for 4 nights. 

我哋用咗大概六個钟的時间去到Gili Trawangan 岛，背着大概30-40公斤的行李步行15分钟到了我哋订的Homestay. 那里还不错安静同干净。只是4晩每人纽币20元。由于这里的道路好不平坦所以有轆的行李都好难推。

Day 3 in Indonesia - Ungasan

We went for a scooter ride heading towards the direction of a big statue we saw. It’s statue of GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana).  It costs IDR 125,000 pp for entry fee. 

We went to Sky Garden for dinner. It was all you can eat and drink from 5pm - 9pm for IDR 129,000 + 10% of tax. I was so full after 3 rounds Ha Ha Ha.

我哋租咗绵羊仔向 Ungasan 方向周围去转一转。在路上见到一尊好大的像，我哋就朝着那方向走去看一下是什么。原来那个是GWK 的庙宇。入门费用是印度币125,000 。

傍晚我哋去Sky Garden 食晩餐，IND129,000 + 10% 5 - 9 点仼食仼飲，是一有名的酒吧。

Seminyak

Day 2 in Indonesia - Seminyak

Today Thursday 18th July 2019 we changed some IND, the exchange rate in Australia bank was $1 AUD = 8,800 IND, at the airport the exchange rate was much lower, offering only 7000 IND.  We just changed some money with uncle at the hostel and he offered 9650 IND.  We also hired a scooter to cruise around and went to Seminyak beach.  The locals were celebrating Full Moon there.

Kuta

Day 1 in Indonesia - Kuta

We arrived at Denpasar airport at 9:30pm on Wednesday 17th July 2019. There were heaps of people there offering rides. offered $150,000 INR to take us to Kuta where we are going to stay for next three days.  The accommodations only cost us $18 NZD per person and including breakfast (pancake and coffee/tea).  Hostel has very basic facilities: bed, towel, toilet paper, most hostels in Indonesia don't offer hot water. We booked the hostel on booking.com and chose the cheapest and it close to the beach and main street.

Tour really begins from today. Flying to Bali @ 4:30pm from Sydney airport.
It has been wonderful last two weeks spending time with family and ate a lot of food.  I’ve gained 3kgs that’s how yummy the food was. Thank you to my dad, my sister, brother in-law and my niece.
